- Request and follow up for legal documents from courts and clients
- Draft legal documents for attorney review including motions and supporting affidavits
- Support the Firm Attorneys with general Legal administrative tasks
- Review dockets and public records for case progress and filings
- Handling Original Documents for redaction & filing with the court
- Print Judgment packages to prepare for shipping to the court via FedEx
- Print and send requests via FedEx for Municipal Lien Certificates, Mortgage Certificates and Mennonite Notices.
- Other duties, as assigned
- 2 years of experience in a legal support role or administrative position.
- Legal experience in the foreclosure field is desired
- Ability to work in high volume, fast passed environment
- Ability and willingness to assist other teams, when needed
- Ability to maintain accuracy, be detail-orientated and highly productive
- PC proficiency, Microsoft Office, Internet Explorer
- Ability to communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to work both independently and contribute in every aspect to a team environment
- Ability to solve problems independently
- Must have a Positive attitude
Schedule:
- 8-hour shift and overtime as needed.
