JR. MECHANICAL ENGINEER

Must be local to the Houston, TX Area
Must pass background and Homeland Security E-verify
Local Candidate Only ( Greater Houston Area )
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and P&ID diagram.
- Evaluate and implement processes applying knowledge of engineering principles.
- Design, develop and produce 3D modeling and dimensional drawings of mechanical components and mechanical systems.
- Perform stress calculations of mechanical and structural components, crane derating calculations, and calculations of limits, fits, and tolerances.
- Proof load test plans and schematic drawings.
- Confer with engineers and other personnel to implement operating and manufacturing procedures, resolve system malfunctions, or provide technical information.
- Support Engineering and Operations in research and assessment of new technologies. Recommend modifications to eliminate system malfunctions.
- Use Micrometer, Caliper etc. to verify accuracy of machined parts and repair work carried out in shop
Educational Requirement:
· Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
· Experience Requirements: 1-2 years of relevant engineering experience and experience with Solid Works, MS Project, Excel.
