We are seeking a skilled Network Architect to support the South Carolina Department of Health & Human Services (SCDHHS). The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing robust, secure, and scalable network infrastructures to support mission-critical healthcare services and systems.
Work Location Requirements:
- Must be located in South Carolina
- Open to candidates willing to relocate from Georgia or North Carolina
- Hybrid role: Onsite presence required 2 days per week at Columbia, SC office
- Design and maintain enterprise network architecture
- Ensure high availability, security, and performance of network infrastructure
- Collaborate with technical teams on integration, optimization, and troubleshooting
- Implement and enforce network policies and best practices
- Assist with cloud and on-prem network strategy
- Proven experience in network architecture and design
- Strong understanding of enterprise networking, security, and compliance
- Experience with government or healthcare clients is a plus
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Relevant certifications (Cisco, Juniper, or similar) preferred
