Reservations Specialist — Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our Alaska-based tour company as a Reservations Specialist. In this role, you will handle customer reservations with accuracy and professionalism, including making, modifying, or canceling bookings as needed. You will also respond to phone and email inquiries and ensure customer information is properly recorded and maintained in our systems.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Accurately enter and maintain customer and tour information in the reservation database
- Make, modify, and cancel reservations while ensuring accuracy in all records
- Respond promptly to phone calls and emails, providing reservation confirmations and detailed trip information
- Offer expert advice and updates to enhance each guest’s Alaska experience
- Update website content, reservation systems, and internal software tools as needed
- Support the General Manager with administrative and operational tasks to ensure smooth tour operations
Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED certificate
- Strong computer literacy, including experience with databases, email platforms, and basic spreadsheet skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Outstanding attention to detail and organizational ability
- Knowledge of Alaska destinations, geography, and travel logistics strongly preferred
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
- Ability to pass a background and drug screening
Schedule and Compensation
- Full-time, year-round position
- Schedule to be determined
- Hourly wage: $18 to $22 DOE
