Join our team at Alaska Trailer in Anchorage as a full-time Yard Hand! We're seeking someone to jump right in and contribute to our operations, starting ASAP. If you're ready to roll up your sleeves and dive into a dynamic work environment, keep reading!

THE BASICS

Starting pay: $18 per hour.

Work hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with a one-hour lunch break.

Start date: Immediate.

Position Description: As a Yard Hand, you'll be an integral part of our team, collaborating closely with our General Manager, Thomas. Your day-to-day tasks will involve pitching in at the workshop, supporting customer rentals, sprucing up trailers, and ensuring the overall appearance of our lot is top-notch. You'll truly be the linchpin that keeps our operations running smoothly.

PTO: Accrued 2.34 hours per pay period

Paid Sick Leave/ Vacation/ Holiday Pay: Kicks in after a 90-day probation period (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s)

Total Annual Paid Time Off: 56.16 hours PTO 48 hours holiday pay

Target Responsibilities

·Maintain the appearance of the yard, including trash removal, snow clearance, and inventory organization.

·Check in rental customers and assist with their needs.

·Participate in inventory checks.

Daily Duties & Responsibilities

·Assist rental customers throughout the day.

·Monitor rental calendar and assets to ensure smooth operations.

·Keep work areas clean and orderly, contributing to overall building maintenance.

·Respond promptly to the needs of team members, fostering a collaborative work environment.
