Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Health and Welfare Customer Service position in Anchorage, AK. The position involves assisting participants with inquiries related to health and welfare benefits, providing accurate information, and resolving issues in a timely manner. The individual will communicate with members to ensure satisfaction, clarify benefit options, and support enrollment processes. Additional responsibilities include documenting interactions, proactively addressing claims-related issues, and collaborating with the team to maintain exceptional service standards.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with participants
- Knowledge of CPT (Current Procedure Terminology) codes, ICD-10 codes, HCPCS (Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System) codes, and CDT (dental and nomenclature) codes, including a basic understanding of policies and benefits related to health and welfare
- Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications or experience in healthcare or benefits administration is preferred
