What are the responsibilities and job description for the Graphic Design & Communications Apprenticeship position at Alaska SeaLife Center?
Summary:
This position is responsible for developing written and visual communications that strengthen the Alaska SeaLife Center’s brand, identity, and reputation.
This apprenticeship offers hands-on experience creating content and graphic designs, with a strong focus on educational programs. Under the guidance of ASLC’s Marketing and Communications team, the intern will assist in producing materials for educational initiatives, newsletters, digital platforms, and collaborative projects such as the CORaL Network.
Education/Training Requirements:
Applicants must be college graduates or currently enrolled in an accredited college or university with a background or coursework in a related field.
For full consideration, candidates must submit a portfolio of graphic design and writing samples with their application and resume. Candidates are encouraged to include other communications skills, such as video, photography, social media content, and more, in their portfolios.
