Position Summary
This position works closely with the President, Maintenance Manager, Operations Manager, and Grounds Crew to maintain all company facilities, including buildings, vessels, and surrounding grounds. This role assists with and may lead a variety of projects, including construction, fabrication, and logistical efforts. Responsibilities also include operating and maintaining heavy equipment as needed and supporting seasonal start-up and shut-down operations at Steamboat Landing, Chena Village, and Gold Dredge 8.
Additional duties include maintaining shop inventory, organizing and stocking tools and supplies, and performing other tasks as assigned by the Maintenance Manager and President.
Schedule & Work Expectations
This position is busier during the spring and summer season and more relaxed in the fall and winter.
During the operating season, weekends and overtime should be expected. In the off-season, the schedule is typically Monday through Friday, 8 hours per day.
Qualifications:Skills and qualifications are preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate who is eager to learn and grow. Come gain hands-on experience across a variety of trades.
