Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Property Manager - Licensee to oversee residential property operations, ensuring exceptional tenant experiences and compliance with all relevant regulations. Responsibilities
- Manage lease or rental agreement processes, including drafting, renewals, and terminations, ensuring compliance with Fair Housing regulations and legal standards such as landlord-tenant law.
- Utilize property management CRM Appfolio to maintain accurate data entry, filing, and record-keeping for all tenant and property information.
- Oversee property maintenance activities by coordinating repairs, inspections, and facilities management to ensure properties meet safety standards and tenant satisfaction.
- Handle client communication with professionalism via phone etiquette, email correspondence, and in-person interactions to address inquiries, resolve conflicts, and upsell additional services when appropriate.
- Monitor budgeting activities related to property operations, including rent collection, expense tracking, and financial reporting using Microsoft Office applications.
- Enforce lease agreements and AHFC housing requirements while managing conflict situations with tenants or vendors through effective conflict management strategies.
- Collaborate with team members on property leasing efforts, sales initiatives, and client relationship management to optimize occupancy rates and tenant retention.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles with familiarity using Yardi, OneSite, Appfolio or similar property management software.
- Strong knowledge of landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations, LIHTC programs, Section 8 housing policies, and contracts management.
- Demonstrated ability in conflict management, negotiation skills, and handling sensitive client or tenant issues professionally.
- Experience in facilities management or property maintenance coordination is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) along with data entry skills for accurate record keeping.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on client communication and relationship building.
- Office experience combined with administrative expertise such as filing systems, data entry accuracy, phone etiquette, and document management (filing).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
