Job Summary And Qualifications
The inpatient rehabilitation lead therapist is responsible for the administration of the day-to-day operations of the Rehabilitation Therapies department under the direction of the Director of Therapy Services. In this role, the lead therapist is responsible for auditing patient care time-logs, ensuring the quality of clinical documentation across disciplines and scheduling staff appropriately to meet patient needs. Additional responsibilities may include orienting new staff, providing staff education, maintaining quality of patient care through quality assurance audits, and serving as an advisor on inpatient rehabilitation specific matters to the Director of Therapy Services and the Director of Rehabilitation Services. Acts as the primary staff liaison between rehab therapies staff and the Director of Rehabilitation Services. Serves ex offico on the inpatient rehabilitation leadership council. The inpatient rehabilitation lead therapist will maintain a clinical caseload with responsibilities commensurate to that of the staff physical therapist, staff occupational therapist, or staff speech language pathologist.

What qualifications you will need:
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Bachelors Degree
- (OT) Occupational Therapist, or (LPT) Licensed Physical Therapist, or (SLP) Speech-Language Pathologist
