Job Summary And Qualifications
As Coordinator of Operating Room Internal Control at our facility you will have an important role in patient care and you lead a skilled, compassionate team that focuses on providing excellent customer service and reliable support to one another. In this role:
- You will be responsible for assessing, building, and directing the implementation of and maintenance of all supply chain system activities within the O.R.
- You will be directly responsible for maintaining Epic O.R. preference cards and the Epic O.R. Dictionaries with respect to supplies.
- You will clearly communicate changes and aids with education to appropriate personnel in regards to preference card supply changes and new supply items.
- You will participate with the O.R.’s physical inventory counts.
- 5 years of relevant clinical/materials experience; O.R. experience preferred.
- Basic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills required; typing 70 wpm and ten-key 150 strokes per minute preferred.
- Good verbal and written communication skills, including spelling and grammar.
- Leadership experience a plus.
