Temporary Seasonal Laborer - Haines, Alaska
AP&T is seeking a motivated and dependable temporary laborer to join our team in Haines, Alaska. This is a full-time position that will provide a variety of support to the line crew, plant crew and truck shop crew.
As a laborer, this position will assist with a variety of hands-on tasks including:
- Brush cutting and weed trimming
- Oil changes and basic mechanical maintenance
- Supporting power plant operations
- Other duties as assigned by the property manager.
This is a manual labor role that requires strong work ethic and a willingness to take on diverse tasks
Schedule:
- 7:00A.M. to 4:00P.M., Monday through Friday
- Occasional over time may be required
- The position will run for 16 weeks from hire date
Candidate Qualifications Required:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Valid driver's license and ability to be insured by AP&T
- 1 year mechanical or electrical experience preferred
- Ability to lift 70 pounds
- Ability to complete a pre-employment background check and drug test. May be subject to random drug testing at any time
- Basic computer skills
The pay for this position is $25.00 per hour.
