Duties and Responsibilities
- Closely works with and takes direction from AMS Site Facility Managers
- Maintains high degree of customer service, professionalism, and office organization
- Responds to telephone and walk-in inquiries
- Maintains all required tenant documentation in a neat and orderly manner
- Controls delinquencies by telephone contact, letters, and e-mail
- Maintains accuracy of bank deposits
- Prepares daily reports as required by management
- Prepares storage units for re-rent after move-out
- Completes daily lock checks and other checklist items
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Alaska Driver’s License and clean driving record
- Familiarity with computer systems and software to include Microsoft Office Suite
- Customer service experience preferred
- Professional and self-motivated
- Ability to work with hand and power tools for minor maintenance and lock cutting
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form and the ability to deal with problems, new challenges, and change as necessary
- Requires physical exertion to manually move, lift, carry, pull, or push heavy objects or materials; exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects
- Requires stooping, kneeling, crawling, bending, turning, and reaching
- Ability to support snow removal efforts to include shoveling
- Ability to sweep and stack pallets (preparing for re-rent)
Ability to work outside for extended periods of time in Arctic conditions!
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
