Job Title: Landscaper
Job Summary:
This seasonal position includes garden install and maintenance. Maintenance includes but is not limited to: weeding, propagation, installing of new plants, pruning, tree trimming, and removal. After spring maintenance is completed, we transition of new garden installation and general maintenance. If you love being outdoors, working with your hands, and learning about plants; then this is the position for you!
Responsibilities:
- Perform initial spring garden, tree, and shrub maintenance. Then following general maintenance.
- Installation of new garden beds and general landscaping projects.
- Utilize power tools effectively to maintain landscapes and hardscape features.
- Assist in the construction and maintenance of hardscape elements such as pathways, walls, and fences.
- Use hand tools for tree care tasks including pruning, trimming, and planting.
- Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform necessary repairs.
- Digging and soil preparation for planting and landscaping projects
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in landscaping, including mowing, groundskeeping, and hardscape maintenance
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools for various landscaping tasks
- Knowledge of tree care practices and techniques
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment problems
- Strong physical stamina to handle outdoor work in various weather conditions
