Role Description This full-time Commercial Loan Processor role is a hybrid position based in Anchorage, AK, with some work-from-home flexibility. The Commercial Loan Processor is responsible for coordinating and processing commercial loan applications, ensuring that all required documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with internal policies and applicable regulations. Day-to-day tasks include gathering financial information from clients, preparing and reviewing loan files, liaising with loan officers, underwriters, and borrowers, and tracking loans through approval, closing, and servicing stages. The role also involves supporting SBA and USDA loan processes, updating internal systems and reports, and maintaining organized records for audits and quality control. The Commercial Loan Processor collaborates closely with team members to provide timely, professional service to customers and to help advance economic development projects in the communities MAGC serves.
Qualifications
- Experience with loan processing, including coordinating and managing commercial loan files from application through closing.
- Knowledge of loan documents and documentation requirements, with ability to review for completeness, accuracy, and compliance.
- Familiarity with loan servicing activities, such as monitoring payments, maintaining records, and supporting ongoing customer inquiries.
- Understanding of SBA and USDA loan programs and guidelines, or willingness to learn these government-backed lending processes.
- General knowledge of commercial loans, credit analysis fundamentals, and banking or financial services operations.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple files and deadlines.
