ECOMMERCE CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE I

Description:JOB SUMMARY
The primary focus of this position is to fill online, or phone orders placed by customers for curbside, home delivery or bush orders. This position is responsible for gathering the items listed on an order using a high amount of accuracy while checking for product quality. Orders need to be packaged and prepared for delivery or shipment. Process coupons and payments and notify warehouse teammates of delivery and load outs to cars when customers arrive for pick up. Provide a positive and friendly customer service experience that makes customers want to shop either online or visit the store in person.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

· High school diploma or GED

· Previous work experience in retail, e-Commerce, or an order fulfillment environment.

· 10-key by touch, data entry and accurate typing skills.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIIES

· Ability to prioritize and work independently while managing time efficiently.

· Skilled at working effectively in a team environment.

· Detail-oriented with the ability to follow-up on multiple tasks

· Excellent oral/written communication skills.

· Good customer service skills are essential.

· Must be able to work a flexible schedule inclusive of weekends and overtime as needed

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

· Answer and direct phone calls

· Process the orders through the point of sale (POS) system to include payment.

· Take and process special orders and customer requests. Works directly with the purchasing team.

· Gather the products on the customers’ shopping list ensuring order accuracy and product quality.

· Package the orders and prepare them for shipment.

· Communicate with customers via, phone, email, live chat, in a professional and timely manner.

· Communicate any substitution or exception to customer.

· Report pricing, scanning, and item location discrepancies

· Interact routinely with customer, retail clerks, and warehousemen.

· Learn and adapt to new processes.

· Assist in training new e-Commerce team members

· Other duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

· Requires ability to lift and/or move items that weigh up to 50 lbs.

· Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.

WORKING RELATIONSHIP
This position requires frequent external customer contact. Works closely with many company departments to include Retail, Warehouse, and Wholesale teams.
