Sonographer

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Sonographer to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic medical imaging procedures using ultrasound technology to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with both patients and medical staff.

Duties

• Conduct ultrasound examinations on patients, ensuring high-quality images are obtained for diagnostic purposes.
• Utilize aseptic techniques to maintain a safe and sterile environment during examinations.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results and provide accurate reports.
• Maintain equipment in good working order, performing routine checks and reporting any malfunctions.
• Stay updated on advancements in sonography techniques and technology, as well as relevant medical terminology.
• Document patient information accurately in compliance with policies and regulations.

Experience

• Two years OB experience in sonography is required.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic ultrasound principles.
• Familiarity with medical imaging protocols and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members.
• A commitment to providing exceptional patient care while adhering to safety standards.

Medical insurance is available if working 32 hours per week.
