- Keep warehouse operations running to company standard
- Handle daily USDA sanitation requirements
- Receive product accurately β down-stack goods, cross-check against invoices, and flag any shipping damage
- Store, handle, and rotate food products properly (oldest first, always dated correctly)
- Salvage usable portions of damaged merchandise
- Stay compliant with OSHA standards
- Deliver great customer service through clear communication and solid merchandising
- High school diploma/GED, or 1β3 months of related experience/training (or an equivalent mix of both)
- 1β3 years of warehouse experience preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Basic math skills (calculations, reading graphs)
- Meat cutting experience preferred β but we're willing to train the right person!
- Experience wrapping, weighing, labeling, and pricing meat cuts
- Food handling experience
- Forklift or electric pallet jack experience
