Accredited Oral and Facial Surgery Center seeking an RN or LPN to assist the surgeons' chairside and actively facilitate patients’ perioperative care. Responsibilities
- Chairside assisting during surgeries.
- Knowledge of medical and dental terminology.
- Prepare rooms for procedures.
- Set up and clearing of surgical instruments.
- Sterilization of instruments.
- Taking vital signs.
- Chart documentation.
- IV placement in preparation for IV sedation.
- Cultivate a climate of trust and compassion for the patients.
- Comply strictly with medical/dental care regulations and OSHA safety standards.
Skills
- Knowledge of medical/dental guidelines and procedures.
- Familiarity with advancements in taking x-rays and proper sterilization technique.
- Familiar with medical/dental terminology.
- Problem solving skills and ability to multi-task.
- Caring and compassionate.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Dental knowledge a plus.
- Experience maintaining sterile processing standards.
- Pay DOE.
- Hours M-F 8am -4:30pm.
- Proven work experience in perioperative procedure a plus, but not required. We will train the right person!
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
