What are the responsibilities and job description for the Principal Cobrand Acquisition & Lifecycle position at Alaska Airlines and Careers?
As a senior individual contributor within Alaska’s multi-billion-dollar cobrand portfolio, this role provides a holistic view across owned acquisition pathways and cardholder lifecycle performance. In close partnership with other members of the Cobrand team responsible for execution across digital and employee-supported channels, this individual supports channel-level acquisition performance by aligning acquisition and onboarding strategies across Alaska-owned environments and coordinating with Bank of America and internal stakeholders to ensure engagement efforts improve activation, early spend, and long-term account productivity for newly acquired cardholders across Alaska-direct channels.
- Developing and coordinating acquisition strategies across Alaska-owned channels in partnership with team members responsible for digital and employee-supported acquisition performance, improving conversion, approval volume, and overall channel productivity.
- Collaborate with channel owners to inform and prioritize enhancements to Alaska-controlled acquisition pathways across digital guest platforms (alaskaair.com, hawaiianair.com, mobile app), leveraging performance insights and testing strategies to improve conversion and application flow effectiveness.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure employee-supported acquisition strategies are aligned to enterprise cobrand performance goals and effectively contribute to Alaska-direct account growth.
- Coordinate with Marketing teams to ensure Alaska-direct acquisition pathways are positioned to capture demand generated through brand investment and performance marketing initiatives.
- Partner with Cobrand team member responsible for acquisition and lifecycle analytics to evaluate Alaska-direct performance, identify segmentation opportunities, and inform onboarding and engagement strategies that improve activation, early spend, and long-term account value.
- In partnership with Bank of America and internal lifecycle stakeholders, define and oversee execution of the cardholder engagement roadmap—including early-month-on-book communications, lifecycle journeys, and trigger-based campaigns—to improve activation, repeat spend, benefit utilization, and overall account productivity for newly acquired cardholders.
- 7 years of experience in loyalty, marketing, strategy, finance, business development or related area.
- Bachelor’s degree, or an additional two years of relevant training/experience in lieu of this degree.
- Advanced analytical background with proven ability to navigate complex datasets.
- Strong communication skills (e.g., verbal, written, and listening) with an ability to communicate clearly and concisely to both internal and external constituencies.
- Detail oriented and highly organized, with ability to multi-task and work independently.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Minimum age of 18.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Airline industry experience.
- Experience developing strategic plans.
- Robust knowledge of loyalty programs, cobrand credit cards and/or partnership structures.
- Passion for loyalty programs, aviation, guest experience and platform development.
- Experience using Excel, Alteryx and/or Tableau.

Salary : $122,800 - $184,200
