Essential Functions:
- Assist with accounts payable processing.
- Enter AP invoices, receipts, and financial data accurately
- Support payroll processing
- Reconcile bank credit card statements
- Maintain organized accounting and vendor files
- Communicate with vendors, customers, and internal staff professionally
- Provide administrative support to the accounting department
- Track and maintain licensing and state registration compliance
- Spearhead insurance renewal annually
- Maintain equipment numbers and update listings
- Monitor level of accounting supplies and office supplies to ensure adequate inventory.

- Answer phone and relay messages.
- Perform other duties, as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:
Minimum:
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
- Experience with accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and computer systems
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Prior accounting, bookkeeping, or office experience preferred.
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.
- Knowledge of office protocol and the ability to effectively work as a member of a team.
- Knowledge of and ability to use computer hardware, electronic data base management and related software.
