Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled low voltage security Technician to join our team, responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting CCTV, Access Control, & Burglar alarm systems. We dont do FIRE.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain CCTV & ACCESS SYSTEMS - Start to finish, including programming.
- Conduct cabling and wiring for low voltage systems using hand tools and power tools in construction or retrofit environments.
- Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to facilitate system installation and maintenance.
- Install & Service Residential & Commercial monitored security systems
- Conduct site surveys to design effective surveillance solutions tailored to client needs.
- Provide field service support including system upgrades, troubleshooting remote access issues.
- Collaborate with clients to explain system features, programming, system set up & fine tuning
Requirements
- Proven experience as a service technician in electronic lock security and surveillance systems is preferred.
- Familiarity with computer hardware, networking concepts, remote access software, and system design principles.
- Mechanical knowledge combined with experience using hand tools and power tools such as drills, screwdrivers, cutters, etc.
- Knowledge of sensors (motion detectors), IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems), CCTV cameras, surveillance equipment, and alarm system sales processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex security systems efficiently.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members. This role requires a dedicated professional committed to ensuring the highest standards of security system performance while providing exceptional customer service.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $48,900.00 - $66,488.00 per year
