Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of resident nutritional needs and develop personalized meal plans to meet those needs
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care plans are in place for each resident
- Educate residents, families, and staff on proper nutrition and meal planning techniques
- Monitor and document resident intake and progress, making adjustments as necessary
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of food and nutritional products
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in dietetics, attending conferences and workshops as needed
Requirements:
- Certificate in dietetics or a related field
- 1 year of experience in a dietetics or related field
- Valid registration as an RD (Registered Dietitian) or RDN (Registered Dietitian Nutritionist)
