Axia Care Center is seeking a strong, hands-on Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support clinical operations, drive quality outcomes, and lead our nursing team with accountability and consistency.
This is a key leadership role for someone who understands the pace of a skilled nursing facility and is ready to step in, take ownership, and deliver results.

Key Responsibilities:
• Support the Director of Nursing in daily clinical operations
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, and floor coverage
• Ensure regulatory compliance and survey readiness at all times
• Monitor clinical outcomes, audits, and documentation
• Lead, coach, and hold nursing staff accountable to standards
• Assist with infection control, QA, and performance improvement initiatives
• Participate in admissions, care planning, and interdisciplinary meetings
• Step in as needed to support the floor and maintain workflow

Qualifications:
• Current RN license (NJ required)
• Prior experience in skilled nursing / subacute setting
• Leadership experience (Unit Manager, Supervisor, or ADON level preferred)
• Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations
• Ability to multitask, lead under pressure, and drive team performance
