Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Insurance Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling insurance policies, providing exceptional customer service, and building lasting client relationships. Duties

  • Engage in outside sales activities to identify potential clients and promote insurance products
  • Conduct thorough needs analysis to recommend suitable insurance coverage options
  • Negotiate policy terms and premiums with clients to secure mutually beneficial agreements
  • Manage sales administration tasks, including processing applications and maintaining accurate records
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, explaining policy details, and assisting with claims
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations such as HIPAA and other privacy standards
  • Utilize telemarketing techniques to reach prospective clients and generate leads
  • Collaborate with team members on benefits administration and policy updates
  • Maintain strong communication skills to effectively convey complex insurance information in a clear manner

Skills

  • Proven experience in outside sales, retail sales, or insurance sales environments
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage diverse audiences
  • Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable for serving a broader client base
  • Proficiency in sales administration, marketing, and analysis skills for strategic planning
  • Customer service orientation with a focus on building long-term relationships
  • Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and benefits administration practices is preferred
