About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting business data to support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver accurate insights and drive business performance and will have a strong grasp of Excel to support a variety of data analysis and reporting. This is a full-time, remote, temporary position with the potential to convert to a permanent role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, analyze, and interpret business data from multiple sources
- Design and develop reports, and visualizations using tools such as Excel
- Partner with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and deliver accurate, timely insights.
- Maintain and improve data quality, consistency, and integrity across reporting systems.
- Provide ad-hoc analyses to support leadership decision-making.
- Monitor business performance metrics and identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
- Support strategic planning, forecasting, and budgeting through data-driven analysis.
- Document reporting processes and provide training or guidance to team members on analytics tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field (Master’s a plus).
- 2–5 years of experience in business analytics, reporting, or a related role.
- Strong skills in Excel, SQL, and at least one BI tool (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, etc.).
- Proven ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
