Job description:
Alan Byer Volvo/Alan Byer Cars is seeking an experienced Greeter who will drive additional sales by working closely with our business development and sales team. You will be responsible for handling internet leads, incoming phone calls, walk-in sales prospects and service department customers with the goal to generate further product interest and sales.
The ideal candidate will have outstanding communicative ability, create intelligent and informative emails, and possess a strong sense of urgency. Familiarity with Volvo models and all other brands is a plus. Articulation is essential.
Responsibilities for this position include
1) Meet and greet customers in a professional manner in-person & on the phone. Determine the nature of incoming calls and direct to the appropriate department.
2) Answer phone quickly and politely. Must be able to take a thorough message and communicate message to the appropriate department in a timely matter
3) Assist with sales, service and parts operations. Cashiers, filing, accounting work as required.
4) Must communicate with customers, employees, vendors, etc. in order to make the operation flow smoothly each day.
5) Handle customer complaints with integrity and direct customer complaints to the Service or Body Shop Manager.
6) Be the first and last impression of the dealership
7) Become familiar with our Dealer Management System and how vehicle information is transmitted to our web sites.
8) Have a working knowledge of our current inventory and the inventory location.
9) Convey basic sales information to prospects that walk in and on phone calls
10) Set up Sales appointments whenever possible.
11) Be able to multitask under pressure
Requirements
Applicants must be tech and digitally savvy
Experience in customer relations preferred.
The ability to write grammatically correct sentences.
Valid driver's license
