Education and Experience Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 48 college credits preferred
- Ability to obtain Level III Assistant licensure (appropriate college credits or pass test for licensure)
- Prior experience working with children or in a school setting preferred.
- Basic computer, data-entry, and word-processing proficiency (Google Workspace or MS Office).
- Ability to operate standard office and audiovisual equipment.
- Knowledge of correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
- Ability to read and interpret routine classroom or program information.
- Capable of writing clear, concise notes, memos, or simple correspondence.
- Demonstrated ability to build positive, respectful relationships with students, families, and staff.
- Commitment to maintaining strict confidentiality of student information in accordance with FERPA.
- Ability to perform all essential job functions, including standing, bending, and lifting up to 25 lbs.
