Responsibilities

  • Utilize library services and learning technology to enhance educational experiences.
  • Manage classroom behavior effectively, creating a safe and respectful environment for all students.

  • Provide mentoring to students, fostering their personal growth and encouraging a love for learning.
  • Engage with parents and guardians to discuss student progress and address any concerns.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with educational practices.

Experience

  • A degree in Education or a related field is preferred.
  • Previous experience working with children in an educational setting is highly desirable.
  • Strong skills in education administration, including lesson planning, assessment, and classroom management.
  • Proficiency in behavior management techniques to support student engagement and discipline.
  • Experience utilizing learning technology to enhance teaching effectiveness.

What We Offer

Salary: Competitive, based on qualifications, aligned with the school's salary scale.

  • $10,000 Sign On Bonus
  • Retention Bonus starting at $7000, with increases for each year of employment with Alamo Navajo Community School
