• 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 1:00 AM
  • 8–10 hour shifts
  • Occasional weekend work may be required depending on production needs.

Qualifications:

The 2nd Shift Maintenance Lead is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment, industrial machinery, facility systems, and company vehicles to ensure safe and efficient operations. This role supports production by minimizing downtime, performing preventative maintenance, and diagnosing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues. The position also works closely with the Environmental Health & Safety Manager to ensure equipment meets regulatory and safety standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance on forklifts, service vehicles, and utility vehicles.
  • Maintain and repair production equipment including CNC mills and lathes, press brakes, shears, burn tables, saws, welding machines, air compressors, painting equipment, sandblasting equipment, and engineering testing equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical issues in industrial machinery and equipment.
  • Replace electrical components including motor starters, fuses, breakers, and related hardware.
  • Install, repair, and maintain electrical conduit and wiring systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems used in manufacturing equipment.
  • Perform general facility maintenance and repairs to support plant operations.
  • Monitor equipment performance and identify potential mechanical or electrical failures.
  • Maintain maintenance logs, repair records, and equipment service documentation.
  • Collaborate with the Environmental Health & Safety Manager to ensure machinery meets regulatory and safety compliance standards.
  • Follow company safety procedures and lockout/tagout requirements when servicing equipment.
  • Support production teams by responding quickly to equipment breakdowns or operational issues.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Knowledge of 3-phase, single-phase, and 12–24 VDC electrical systems.
  • Experience working with electrical components, motors, and industrial wiring.
  • Welding and fabrication skills.
  • Experience with mechanical conveyors and overhead crane systems.
  • Experience working with pneumatic components and systems.
  • Knowledge of CNC machinery maintenance.
  • Ability to work safely and independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Preferred Experience

• 5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
  • 5 years of electrical troubleshooting and repair experience.
  • 5 years of mechanical maintenance experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret ladder logic diagrams.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing or heavy equipment production environments.

Required Certifications / Licenses

• Valid Driver’s License.
  • Forklift certification preferred (or ability to obtain).
  • Lockout/Tagout and industrial safety training preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and work for extended periods during an 8–10 hour shift.
  • Ability to routinely lift, carry, push, or pull materials weighing up to 30 pounds.
  • Frequent walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, and reaching when servicing equipment.
  • Ability to climb ladders, access platforms, and work around large industrial machinery.
  • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and maintenance equipment.
  • Visual ability to read wiring diagrams, equipment manuals, and maintenance documentation.

Salary : $31 - $35
