We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Collision Center Technician (Prepper) to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Inspect damaged vehicles thoroughly to assess repair needs and determine the scope of work required.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to perform auto body repairs, including dent removal, panel replacement, and frame straightening.
- Conduct vehicle maintenance tasks such as aligning parts, sanding, priming, painting, and finishing surfaces to meet quality standards.
- Perform heavy lifting and maneuvering of vehicle parts using appropriate techniques and equipment to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Maintain detailed repair documentation, including progress reports and quality control checks throughout the repair process.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs while adhering to safety protocols and industry standards.
- Assist with auto restoration projects by applying automotive repair skills to bring classic or damaged vehicles back to optimal condition.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in automotive repair or auto body work, with mechanic experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and familiarity with vehicle maintenance procedures.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and auto service equipment necessary for collision repairs.
- Knowledge of auto body repair techniques including auto restoration and frame straightening.
- Ability to lift heavy vehicle parts safely and efficiently while following proper procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship.
