Minimum Education and Experience:

• A Bachelor's degree in a related field or a combination of relevant experience, education and training that equates to the required degree.
• One year of teaching experience.
  
  

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Master’s degree with 18 graduate hours in the teaching discipline and/or experience teaching low-income, first generation high school students.
• Upward Bound experience is preferred
  
  

Licenses and Certifications:

• A Texas Teacher’s Certification in the assigned academic area (a Master’s Degree may be substituted for the Teacher’s Certification).
