Under general DPS supervision, responsible for providing excellent customer service while ensuring the security, safety and well-being of all personnel, students, visitors, and the premises. Respond to emergencies, provide initial assistance, and coordinate with law enforcement, fire, or medical personnel as needed to maintain safety and protect of ACD.
Reports to the District Department of Public Safety.

Minimum Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Clear criminal background.
- Six months of job-related experience.
- Complete the CPR, First Aid & AED training within the first year of employment.
- Must have a valid driver license. Must be insurable through the organization’s insurers.
- Preferred licensed as a peace officer by the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE) within the first year of employment.
