Purpose of Position:

       The Graphic Designer will generate visually impressive designs to promote products and the Alamo Auto Supply brand while managing administrative duties for project completion.

Job Specific Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Takes direction from Marketing Supervisor.
• Design and produce print and digital content in an efficient manner for various campaigns.
• Work collaboratively with the marketing team to ensure all designs align with our brand and campaign messaging.
• Manage and prioritize multiple design projects simultaneously.
• Maintains understanding of Alamo brand, offerings, and customers.
• Scheduling of content on social media, email, & website platforms.
• Assists in archiving all projects and marketing assets.
• Maintain creative traffic for multiple projects.  
• Carry out administrative duties for the Marketing department.
• Stay up to date with design trends and best practices.

• Proficient with computer skills – Microsoft Office, Internet, electronic calendar, and e-mail.

• Learns and retains concepts quickly.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Display organizational skills and meets deadlines.
• Must be comfortable with receiving constructive criticism during critique sessions.
• Proficiency in using the Adobe Creative Suite, primarily Ai, Ps, and, Id
• Strong conceptual and design skills.
• An interest in off-road culture is helpful.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish helpful.

Supervisory Responsibility:

This position does not have supervisory responsibilities. Carries out company plans and works as a representative of the company. Works towards meeting goals and ensuring company success.

Responsible for all safety aspects of the company.

Work Environment:

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate. This position is very active and requires movement and computer operating throughout the day. The employee is required to remain in a stationary position for a large portion of the day. The employee must occasionally exert up to 10 pounds of force to move objects. The employee will need to have the ability to observe details both at close and far range.

Work Schedule:

Determined by assigned department. May include weekends and one day off during the week. Overtime may be required. Travel may be required occasionally.

Requirements

 Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field
• A portfolio which displays a range of recent work is required. Digital portfolios are preferred.
• 2-5 years of graphic design experience is required.
