Summary:
The Clinic Manager - LVN is responsible for the coordination and oversight of clinical and administrative operations within a specialized healthcare setting focused on HIV treatment and LGBTQ primary care. This position ensures the consistent delivery of high-quality, patient-centered services while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies. Key functions include supervising clinical workflows, managing staff performance, optimizing operational processes, and overseeing financial activities to support the clinic’s strategic objectives. The role requires a combination of clinical expertise, leadership capability, and administrative proficiency.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Clinical Operations & Staff Management
- Supervise daily clinic operations, ensuring smooth patient flow and adherence to clinical protocols.
- Lead and support a multidisciplinary team including LVNs, MAs, front office staff, and providers.
- Coordinate staff schedules, training, and performance evaluations.
- Act as the primary point of contact between AARC and the credentialing service.
- Manage the procurement of clinic equipment, medical supplies, and vaccines.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and grant standards.
Patient Care & Advocacy
- Provide direct patient care within LVN scope, including vitals, injections, and patient education.
- Foster a welcoming, affirming environment for LGBTQ individuals and people living with HIV.
- Collaborate with providers and AARC resource staff to support holistic, patient-centered care.
Administrative & Financial Support
- Oversee front-end administrative processes including insurance verification, authorizations, and patient registration accuracy.
- Monitor and manage charge capture, coding accuracy documentation, and timely claims submission.
- Work with external billing vendor to reduce denials, improve collections, and optimize reimbursement.
Quality Improvement & Compliance
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and data-driven decision-making.
- Maintain accurate documentation and support audits and reporting requirements.
- Ensure culturally competent care delivery aligned with LGBTQ health best practices.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education & Experience
- Current State of Texas LVN license.
- 3 years of clinical experience, preferably in HIV care, LGBTQ health, or community health settings.
- 2 years of supervisory or management experience in a healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of physician office reimbursement procedures including billing, coding, and insurance processes.
- Familiarity with billing and insurance processes is a plus.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Passion for health equity, diversity, and inclusion.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Ryan White programs, FQHCs, or similar funding models.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems (e.g., eClinicalWorks, Epic).
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

REQUIREMENTS:
Must maintain a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance coverage, be able to travel as needed, and be able to meet on a consistent basis the driving record requirements of the Company’s auto insurance carrier if you drive company owned vehicle or your personal vehicle during company business.

Salary : $58,032 - $65,000
