Job Summary
Part-Time Hourly, Tuesdays & Wednesdays preferred, 9:00 AM–12:00 PM. The ESL Intervention Teacher provides targeted instructional support to adult English language learners who are not progressing at the expected rate in standard ESL classes. Students may have limited literacy in their primary language, interrupted or limited formal education, and/or significant gaps in foundational academic skills. The teacher works collaboratively with ESL staff to design and deliver differentiated intervention instruction that supports language acquisition, literacy development, confidence, and student persistence.
Requirements / Qualifications
California Adult Education Credential or K12 CA Teaching Credential with ESL authorization. Experience teaching beginning literacy or pre-literate learners. Experience working with diverse backgrounds and learning types.
