What are the responsibilities and job description for the ELD Test Technician-Short Term position at Alameda Unified School District?
Job Summary:
TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: Must be willing to commit to work from Initial: February 1 through May 31.
Opportunities are available for temporary work in the Alameda Unified School District. AUSD is looking for qualified individuals interested in administering the English Language Proficiency Assessments for California Test to the District’s K-12 English language learners. All examiners will be certified by successfully completing the district-sponsored screening and training.
EXAMPLES OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Attends ELPAC Administration and Scoring Training including independent on-line training for scoring calibration.
Follows testing protocols and navigates testing platforms during test administration.
Ensures a safe, comfortable, organized testing environment for students that adheres to state guidelines.
Testing will occur at all school sites - must be able to travel to different sites according to the District timeline.
Prepares materials for testing.
EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS:
Fluent in English
Knowledge of basic computer skills.
Capable of self-direction in completing assigned tasks.
AA degree or higher.
Fingerprinting clearance and TB test
Must be able to: Work independently with minimal direction, Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with all staff, students, administrators.
