We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Elementary School Teacher to help my kids tutoring their home work, Reading, Writing, and Math. This role involves developing and implementing engaging lesson plans, managing their study level dynamics.
Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to various learning styles.
- Teach core subjects, including literacy education, math, and physical education, while integrating technology into the learning process.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a conducive learning environment.
- Provide individualized support and tutoring.
- Mentor their academic pursuits and personal development, fostering a love for learning.
- Assess my kids progress through standardized testing and other evaluation methods to inform instruction.
- Maintain an organized classroom environment that promotes safety and respect among students.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; teaching certification preferred.
- Experience working with children in an educational setting is essential; private school experience is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, early childhood education, and special education practices.
- Proficiency in lesson planning, curriculum development, and classroom management techniques.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Familiarity with learning technologies that enhance educational experiences.
- Experience working with students with autism or other special needs is highly desirable.
- Ability to demonstrate strong proofreading skills for instructional materials and student assessments.
