The ideal candidate should possess knowledge in Finance, HR, and Payroll. They should have experience in testing new software functionality, conducting training sessions, and creating end-user training documentation. Strong customer service and analytical skills are desired. This job reports to the Director III, Financial Systems Support.
Requirements / Qualifications
THE POSITION: The job of Client Support Analyst is done for the purpose/s of providing training, client support and analysis for the implementation and operation of student demographic, financial, human resources, payroll and other software; and serving as a technical advisor to ACOE staff and client district personnel. LOCATION: 313 W. Winton Ave. Hayward, CA 94544 TYPICAL DUTIES: Collaborates with a variety of internal and external parties (e.g. school district officials, other staff, software providers, outside agencies, etc.) for the purpose of establishing and maintaining collaborative customer service relationships and ensuring project success. Develops software demonstrations and documentation for presentations to staff for the purpose of marketing the utilization of software applications to potential users. Develops and prepares a wide variety of complex materials (e.g. application documentation, training materials for new procedures, changes to existing procedures, flow charts, user guides, notices, etc.) for the purpose of documenting activities, providing written reference and/or conveying information. Establishes environments for use in application data testing for the purpose of emulating production environments and ensuring that defined requirements meet expected functionality. Monitors client use of database systems activities and performance for the purpose of identifying needs for additional client training and ensuring compliance with accepted industry standards, established ACOE standards, policies and procedures. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Experience: Four (4) years related experience of increasing responsibility and/or training. Education: Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology or related field. Equivalency: Equivalent combination of education and experience.
