What are the responsibilities and job description for the Compassionate Companionship Volunteer for Solano and Oakland territory position at Alameda Care Hospice?
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of others? Do you have a heart for helping families and caregivers who selflessly care for their loved ones? If so, we need you!
We are seeing compassionate and dedicated volunteers to assist with caregiver relief by offering companionship, light assistance and support to individuals in need while their primary caregivers take a much needed and deserved break.
What you will do:
-Provide friendly companionship and engagement
-Offer a caring presence while caregivers take time for themselves
-Bring joy and comfort to those who need it most
What We're Looking For:
-Kind, patient and reliable individuals
-A commitment to helping others in a meaningful way
-Ability to dedicate a few hours per week (flexible scheduling)
-Experience in caregiving is a plus but not required- just a big heart!
