Position Opportunity
We are looking for a dedicated IT Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide technical support and guidance to users, ensuring smooth operation of hardware and software systems.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
Qualifications
Education/Training/Certifications: Associate degree / Or Equivalent Experience plus
High School Diploma / GED
Related Experience: Minimum 2 years Technical Experience
Knowledge/Skills Experience:
- Providing guidance and technical support to users of hardware and software.
- Installing or fixing hardware and software as needed.
- Troubleshooting user issues and resolving them promptly.
- Manning the help desk and responding to inquiries.
- Maintaining networks and computer systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Communicating effectively with cross-functional teams to address IT needs.
- Adapting to changing environments and learning new technologies.
- Following directions and being open to continuous learning.
- Lifting and moving equipment weighing 10-20 lbs as required.
Travel Requirements: Ability to travel locally to company facilities in Graham, Burlington, and Mebane as needed.
