Allergy RN – Full Time
Ear, Nose, and Throat specialty practice looking for a motivated allergy nurse looking to form part of great team at Alamance Ear, Nose , & Throat LLP.
Job Responsibilities Allergy Department:
- Performs allergy prick testing and/or intradermal testing as ordered by physician.
- Administers allergy injections to shot patients on physician approved schedule.
- Monitors patients medically for possible adverse reaction following receipt of allergy injection.
- Prepares and maintains supplies and equipment for treatments, including sterilization.
- Performs patient education when appropriate.
- Completes appropriate documentation in patients medical record.
- Facilitates prescriptions for patients as ordered by physician or PA.
- Clinical support for providers as requested/required by role within practice.
- Follows up to obtain referrals and insurance authorization as requested and needed.
- Other duties as assigned or needed
Schedule: Must be available to work 40 hours a week Monday through Friday 8:00am until 5:00pm.

Secondary: Mebane, NC
Preferred qualifications:
RN or BSN
1 or more years of experience in an allergy clinic
Knowledge and experience of allergy vials mixing, allergy testing, & administering allergy injections/treatments.
Required qualifications:
RN or higher
