Responsibilities
- Perform tire replacements, rotations, balancing, and repairs with precision and efficiency
- Conduct oil changes and automotive fluid replacements using standard procedures and safety standards
- Assist with wheel alignments and minor mechanical repairs to maintain vehicle safety and performance
- Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment to identify issues and complete repairs
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical problems, perform routine maintenance, and document all services accurately
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and recommending additional maintenance needs
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks safely when handling tires, batteries, or other vehicle components
Requirements
- Prior dealership or automotive repair experience is highly preferred
- Mechanical knowledge of standard passenger cars and basic automotive diagnostics required
- Familiarity with automotive fluid replacement, oil change procedures, and tire service techniques necessary
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and automotive diagnostic equipment effectively
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform minor mechanical repairs confidently
- Experience with vehicle maintenance tasks such as alignments and general repairs beneficial
- Physical strength to handle heavy lifting and perform manual tasks throughout the workday
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude towards teamwork and communication
