Warehouse Attendant/Driver
The Warehouse Attendant/Driver position will perform general warehouse work. Stocks and pulls orders from the warehouse/shop and restocks items. Deliver and pick up materials and equipment to/from the warehouse to job sites, docks, other business establishments, etc.
Assists in picking up rubbish, scrap, etc.; maintains housekeeping and safe conditions of the warehouse.
Individual must have a type 3 driver’s license and a good driving abstract.
Operates other types of equipment such as a forklift.
Must be punctual and reliable to report to work. Primary work hours are 7am – 3:30pm or 6am – 2:30pm. Must be flexible to work different shifts and periodically on the weekends.
Qualifications: individual must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodations. Able to read, write and comprehend verbal and written instructions. Able to effectively communicate with customers, vendors and fellow employees.
Good mathematical knowledge (add, subtract, multiply, divide, figure out percentages, etc.). Must be accurate in quality of work and meet critical deadlines.
Physical qualifications: must be able to see, stand, walk, sit, stoop, bend, crouch, kneel, reach, climb, balance have good hand/finger dexterity. Must be able to lift about 50 lbs.
Ability to speak and understand the English language.
Work environment: Primarily in the warehouse and outdoor environments at job sites. Working conditions may be hot, humid, dusty, dirty, wet and potentially hazardous conditions.
