Do you have a passion for early childhood education and a heart for helping young learners grow? Alaina’s Children’s Center is seeking a Preschool Assistant / Paraprofessional to join our dynamic team in our 2.5–3.5-year-old classroom!
In this role, you will work alongside experienced lead teachers to create a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment. The ideal candidate is patient, dependable, and enthusiastic about supporting children as they explore, learn, and develop essential social and academic skills.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting lead teachers with implementing daily lesson plans and classroom routines
- Supporting children’s emotional, social, and physical development through active engagement and positive guidance
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized learning environment
- Providing one-on-one or small group support to children who may need extra assistance
- Collaborating with the teaching team to ensure a consistent, caring environment for all students
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required; CDA or early childhood coursework preferred
- Experience working with young children (ages 2–4) in a preschool or childcare setting
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- A compassionate, patient, and professional demeanor
