Cafe Alaia is seeking an experienced and hospitality-driven Floor Manager to join our team.
Position
Floor Manager / Front of House Manager
Full-Time | Evenings & Weekends Required
Responsibilities
* Oversee daily front-of-house operations
* Ensure exceptional guest experience and service standards
* Manage floor flow, reservations, and seating
* Supervise and support servers, hosts, bartenders, and support staff
* Handle guest relations professionally and efficiently
* Coordinate with kitchen and ownership to maintain smooth service
* Train and motivate staff while maintaining a positive team culture
Qualifications
* Minimum 3–5 years restaurant management experience
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Experience in upscale or high-volume dining preferred
* Knowledge of POS and reservation systems (OpenTable experience a plus)
* Professional appearance and demeanor
* Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
