Carpet Cleaning Technician

The Carpet Cleaning Technician assists the Carpet Cleaning Manager with the professional cleaning of carpets, upholstery and other textiles in residential and commercial properties. The Carpet Cleaning Tecnician will receive on-the-job training in industry-approved cleaning techniques, equipment usage and customer service standards. This position requires hands on work in a variety of environments, ensuring that every cleaning is performed safely, efficiently and to the company's quality standards.

Salary Range: $16.00 - $24.00 per hour

Hourly Base Salary Based on Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be willing to work overtime/weekends when needed
• Effective communication skills both written and verbal
• Ability to lift at least 50pounds
• Valid drivers license and clean driving record. Must be able to maintain a valid chauffeur license.
• Must have excellent customer service skills

Carpet Cleaning Responsibilities:

• 
  Assist with set-up and breakdown of carpet cleaning equipment, including hoses, wands and truck mounted units
• Move and protect furniture as needed to prepare for cleaning services
• Mix, apply and handle cleaning solutions and chemicals safely under the direction of the Carpet Cleaning Manager
• Operate carpet cleaning equipment under supervision, following training and IICRC Standards
• Perform spot treatment, pre-spraying and stain removal services
• Support drying processes, including the placement of air movers as required
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the truck, equipment and tools daily
• When assigned as the lead cleaner, operate the truck independently, price the job accordingly, manage the job site, communicate with the customer and ensure the cleaning is completed to company standards
