The Role at a Glance:
We are looking for a skilled, experienced Catering Captain to join our higher education team in Fairfield, AL. As a Catering Captain, you will have the opportunity to oversee and manage a catering event and ensure its success.
What you’ll be doing:
- Overseeing the setup, service, and breakdown of events.
- Managing event staff.
- Ensuring courteous, prompt service for all event functions according to established guidelines.
- Assisting in the recruitment and training of new associates.
- Any other tasks as necessary.
What we’re looking for:
Must-haves:
- At least three years’ experience in catering, foodservice, or hospitality.
- Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
- Good knowledge of all aspects of event implementation.
Nice-to-haves:
- Previous experience in a management or supervisory role.
