What are the responsibilities and job description for the Court Services position at Aladdin Bail Bonds?
Court services clerk ensures smooth communication and efficient case management between the court system and external parties such as law enforcement, attorneys, jail personnel and internal department requests. The duties, tasks and responsibilities of a court services clerk is the following:
- Reports directly to the Regional Manager for assigned area.
- Assist with managing all cases assigned to regional area.
- Prepare, review and process various documents and forms for corresponding courts and internal departments.
- Record and maintain official minutes of hearings, trials and other case proceedings.
- Maintain and organize case assignments.
- Manage electronic case management systems and data entry.
- Travel to the surrounding court jurisdictions, correction facilities, sheriff's offices, etc. to file motions, pick up documents, review case status, deliver court fees, etc.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have a driver's license and a good driving record.
- Must have at least one year of full-time clerical experience.
- Excellent communication skills.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
- Knowledge of basic administrative duties: operate a printer, copier, scanner, office telephone, etc.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word for creating and formatting professional documents and reports.
- Knowledge with basic Microsoft Excel navigation.
- Work schedule, Monday through Friday, 7:30AM - 4PM.
- Company car available for court liaison services.
