Duties
- Perform quality inspections on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and coordinate measuring machines to assess product dimensions and tolerances.
- Analyze inspection data and prepare reports detailing findings, trends, and recommendations for corrective actions.
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement improvements in processes.
- Maintain documentation related to quality systems, including inspection records, test results, and non-conformance reports.
- Participate in internal audits to ensure adherence to quality management standards.
- Support the development and implementation of quality assurance protocols in line with ISO.
Qualifications
- High School Degree or equivalent and 1-3 years of proven experience in a quality technician or similar role within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Experience in weld inspection preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints and have some understanding of GD&T MINIMUM
- Proficient in using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, height gages)
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a high level of independence.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
